Battle Blades Wolf Hawk
These knives come with a picatinny rail attachment so basically it will mount to any sort of handguard with a rail. They do come in different styles, such as solid grip handles or paracord wrapped handles. Two blade profiles are also offered; “Hunter” and “Tanto”. MSRP is about $140.00, but is it practical? Just depends on the individual and their needs. (GRH)
I have a black paracord-wrapped “Hunter” on an AK and can say it is exactly as advertised. It is mounted on the right side rail of the handguard, and transition to the knife with the trigger hand while simultaneously rotating the weapon down and back with the left hand is a pretty seamless process after a little practice (the method of blade release is a bit tricky at first).
Is it practical? I suppose, in a sense - as long as you have the weapon you have a blade. I’m a total slut for edged weapons, so “the more the merrier”.
Is it cool as fuck? Definitely.
abrahamlincolnvampirefucker said: what was airborne school like? also have you gotten any other school tabs? and if not would you try and get them in the future?
Airborne school was easy enough for me. Lots of running. You run everywhere. Lots of information to take in 3 weeks but the black hats at Benning are very professional and knowledgable.
I have many schools that are on my ERB but aren’t shown as badges. But as far as badges go, I have my CIB which I earned last deployment and my jump wings from airborne school after OSUT. I don’t have any tabs, but along down my career, I plan on getting my Ranger tab and long tab(if i go through with selection and the course). I’m currently studying for Jumpmaster school for when I return from deployment. I don’t care much for Air Assault badge because I think it’s just a show badge. I would really like to get the pathfinder badge as well but that’s all in the future down my military career.
kick ass thanks for answering! good luck with getting the long tab man
